Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment...Hebrews 9:27

The last 2 of the 6 foundational doctrines of the Christian faith are unique from the 1st four in that they occur in eternity, outside of the "time-space continuum".

We hope you can be with us for the final installment of our "Foundations" series as Pastor Ray teaches on the doctrines of the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment; the 2 appointments the human race will be compelled to keep.

The 4th foundational doctrine of the Christian faith is laying on of hands, a physical act of faith through which God imparts a surprising number of spiritual blessings.

We hope you can be with us this weekend as Pastor Ray continues the Foundations teaching series with a message on how we can reconnect with one of the great power secrets of the early church.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38

There are as many as a half dozen types of baptism mentioned in the New Testament, but only 2 of them are foundational to the Christian faith: water baptism in Jesus' name and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. We hope you can be with us this weekend as Pastor Ray continues our "Foundations" series with "The Doctrine of Baptisms". We are planning to pray for those who desire to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the conclusion of the message, so feel free to invite friends and family!

Christian salvation is unique among the world's religions because it is based on faith, not works. But what exactly is "saving faith"? Please join us this weekend as Pastor Ray continues our Foundations Series with some very practical teaching on what it means to be "saved by grace through faith."

"The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the gospel." - Matthew 4:17

Repentance and faith are the first 2 of the 6 foundational doctrines of the Christian faith listed in Hebrews 6, and the New Testament consistently mentions them together. And the order is important. There is no saving faith without genuine repentance.

"Let us move on to maturity, not laying again the foundation..." - Hebrews 6:1

Jesus Christ is the foundational Cornerstone in the building of the Christian life. But once that "Rock" is in place, there are 6 foundational doctrines that must be laid so we can move on toward maturity. We hope you can be with us this weekend as Pastor Ray continues his teaching series on the "Foundations" of the Christian faith.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. - Ephesians 2:19-22

God is a Builder and our life in Christ is His construction site. But there is a fixed relationship between the foundation and the building; we can never build a Christian life greater than what our foundation can support. We hope you can be with us this week for "Christ the Cornerstone", Part 2 of Pastor Ray's "Foundations" series.

"For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building." - 1 Corinthians 3:9

The New Testament consistently compares the Christian life to a construction zone and to the Church as a building. Jesus said, "On this rock I will build my church". (Matthew 16:18) The Apostle Paul referred to himself as a "wise master builder." (1 Corinthians 3:10). The most important part of any building is the foundation! So we hope you can be with us this weekend as Pastor Ray begins a new series on this most serious subject.
